How your petrol consumption is worked out.
Divide the distance between two full tanks by the litres it took to fill them, and you have kilometres per litre you can trust. It is the method riders have used at the pump for decades — MyRideSG just does the arithmetic on every fill-up you log.
Top-ups between full tanks are added to the next segment instead of producing a number of their own, and until you have logged two full tanks there is no figure at all — a blank beats a wrong answer.

How do I calculate my motorcycle’s petrol consumption?
Log each fill-up with the litres, the amount paid and the odometer reading. MyRideSG works out economy full-to-full: distance travelled between two full tanks divided by the litres pumped in between. Partial top-ups are carried into the next segment rather than treated as a full tank, so the km/L figure stays honest.
Does the fuel tracker work in SGD?
